Engraved Name Badges and the Pilot in Me
When I was young I dreamt of being a pilot. The fascination of flying and the whole thing about being in the air got the best of me and all I ever wanted was to pilot a plane. Not only did I yearn to be in the air, I also yearned to adorn in one of the engraved name badges that pilots proudly flaunted in the cockpit. I was charmed by their looks when they walked on the runway, pulling behind their suitcases as they headed towards the plane. The whole picture drove me wild with passion to the extent of getting posters of planes on my wall. I wanted to learn a thing or two about planes and if the only way to learning was to get posters on my wall then I was indeed learning. I became inquisitive about planes and somewhat it paid off. I got the chance to fly but much later in life.
